Portalvision plans to
re-engineer the CMS 3.0
Hong
Kong – 28 January 2010 Portalvision plans to re-engineer the
framework of the CMS 3.0 which is an open source clinic management software
jointly developed by Hong Kong Medical Association (HKMA) and Information and
Software Industry Association (ISIA) to improve the performance as well as
better continuity and support. Besides there will be improvement on security
and added patient record linkup by service-oriented architecture (SOA)
technology.
Portalvision would replace the existing
underlying Grail 1.0 framework on which CMS 3.0 is built with better and stable
version with continuous support. The continuity, stable and efficient
foundation is critical to confidence of adopting CMS 3.0 software by clinics in
the long term.
Besides, Portalvision is
enhancing security by improving security mechanism on user authentication and
audit trailing, especially via web service API calls. Patient records now can
link up to external medical records or lab reports and radiology documents via
a newly-designed SOA infrastructure.
Portalvision now release Clinic Management
Software with built-in Clinic Portal that can connect patient or public and
inform them with most updated health information about diseases, healthcare
talks and seminars and medical updates and make online appointment and confirm
appointment with doctor. It further strengthens the relationship between
patients and healthcare professionals and improves efficiency of clinic
operation.
