Portalvision advances iCare 2010 with iPad support

 

21 September 2010, Portalvision, a Clinic Management System (CMS) solution provider, releases a new version of iCare 2010.  The highlight of the new release is iPad support for the newest version of iCare 2010.

 

Already supporting other mobile platforms, iCare with iPad support will revolutionize clinic management. Equipped with a much larger screen, iPad can now allow doctors to remotely use the CMS system fully.  iCare 2010 with iPad support can make doctors save time, communicate better and in turn builds trust with the patients.  As one trace through the business process cycle of a clinic, the impact of iPad on quality of care becomes apparent.

First when a patient arrives at a clinic, clinic nurses can ask them to fill in forms and surveys using iPad Pages or other integrated apps.  Then patients' records are directly uploaded into CMS database electronically through email or API.  For the clinic practitioners, this efficient gathering of data saves time and space for paper storage.
